UrologBook ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use the UrologBook mobile application.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following types of information:

• Account information: Email address and password (used for authentication via Supabase).
• Profile data: Name and hospital name, voluntarily provided by you.
• Surgical case data: Anonymised clinical data you enter into the app (patient ID, procedure type, operative data, complications). No patient names or identifiable information is required or stored.
• Purchase information: Managed entirely by Apple App Store and RevenueCat. We do not store credit card or payment details.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and maintain the UrologBook service.
• To display your surgical logbook and analytics within the app.
• To process in-app purchases and verify Pro membership status.
• To respond to support requests.

3. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely using Supabase, which employs row-level security (RLS) — meaning only you can access your own data. All data is transmitted over HTTPS. We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties.

4. AI Photo Recognition (Pro Feature)

When you use the AI photo scan feature, images of surgical notes are temporarily sent to Anthropic's API (Claude) for text extraction. Images are not stored by us or by Anthropic after processing. No patient-identifiable information should be included in images submitted for processing.

5. Third-Party Services

UrologBook uses the following third-party services:

• Supabase — database and authentication (Privacy Policy)
• RevenueCat — in-app purchase management (Privacy Policy)
• Anthropic (Claude) — AI text extraction for Pro users (Privacy Policy)
• Apple App Store — app distribution and payments (Privacy Policy)

6. Data Retention

Your data is retained for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of all your data at any time by contacting us or using the "Delete all data" feature within the app.

7. Children's Privacy

UrologBook is intended for medical professionals only. We do not knowingly collect information from individuals under 18 years of age.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Request correction or deletion of your data.
• Export your data (CSV/PDF export available within the app).

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
